Can I join this PBeM?

I have the investigators I need and do not accept new players on inquiry. However, players drop out and I need new players regularly.

What do you want from me for you to accept me as a new player?

When I want new players I go through a list of players ,who have earlier asked to play, pick one and asks if he/she still wants play.
If you want to be included on this list, you must create an investigator and a background story and request to be put on the list. I have no preferences regarding professions of investigators, although I will try to have a group of investigators that complement eachother.

Is experience with Call of Cthulhu neccessary to be accepted as a new player?

No. I general roleplaying experience is preferred.

How can I join other PBeMs?

I have some advices for you who want to join a PBeM:
1: ask for a game on a newsgroup, rec.games.pbm or alt.horror.Cthulhu
2: Pay attention to these newsgroup. On occasion keepers look for players.
3: Seek out webpages, ( with keywords like "Cthulhu AND PBeM") or use the webrings), like mine and ask the keepers if they have a free slot.
4: Keep an eye on the Irony Games Games Opening. Keepers find many players here. www.pbem.com/new/newHorror.html
