The Meat plant, 1800, Wednesday, 3rd December 1921. Arriving at the labaratory, they see that it is gone and replaced by a black void. Suddenly the labaratory re-appears.-----
The Boston train, the private car. 1100, Wednesday, 3rd December 1921.
The investigators encounter an intruiging Russian Countess. Charles' tongue slips and reveals that they are on a "secret" and dangerous mission. The Countess want to join the party, and although Charles strongly opposses this, the others have no objections to this.

Arkham, Wednesday, 2nd December 1921.
In their preliminary investigations, the investigators discover that the professor was rather eccentric and was obsessed with the idea of time travel. Lately, when he returned to the M.U. to do some research, he delved into occult matters.

The Doc's office. 1000, Tuesday, 2nd December 1921.
Doc receives an official from the Miskatonic University. He hires Doc to discover what has come about one of their professors, Garret M. Rhodes, who has not reported back for a while, from his laboratory in Boston.
